An imaginary scenario
I played a game today. Six players managed kingdoms that were fighting each other. Three players were on a team. The other three were on another team. You can recruit peasants to build things and mages to research new technology. You can also recruit sergeants, mayors, and generals. The sergeant is the only unit that absolutely needs to be built. Without them, there would be civil unrest. Outlaws, thugs, rogues, and theives would appear, and you would not win. This is the scenario I watched today.
One team had a big problem with civil unrest. One of their leaders went somewhere else and got poisoned. The rest of the players did not have enough money to solve the problem. The team in the south was very successful and was even about to attack the north before the game ended from players leaving.
