East team defeats west team in Siege Castles; scouts take villages unhindered

eyu100 saw an interesting game yesterday. It was hosted by Bob_the_Mighty. He played as green. His team was winning, but he couldn't get on purple's land. He moved some of his drakes onto purple's land and tried to keep them there. He had to move many new drakes there because they got killed pretty quickly. Eventually, he killed purple's leader.

Blue also was winning against red, but they were pushed back in the daytime. However, his scouts were taking the enemies' villages. I did not see the outcome of this game, but Bob's team probably won. The scouts were about to take over red's castle. Red’s leader was poisoned.

The teams in this game were East and West. The West team consisted of red and purple. Purple was controlled by Ryker. It is unknown who Ryker was controlled by. The east team consisted of blue and green. The blue player was controlled by Ryu for most of the game. Bob_the_Mighty controlled it after he left. Bob controlled green. Red was in the northwest, purple was in the southwest, blue was in the northeast, and green was in the southeast.

Siege Castles has three main land masses. The land masses are divided by two rivers. The northwest land mass is on the northern side of the horizontal river. It is red’s land mass. The southwest land mass is on the southern side of the horizontal river and the western side of the vertical river. It is purple’s land mass. The eastern land mass is the land mass east of the vertical river and south of the horizontal river. Blue and green are both on the land mass. Blue is on the northern side and green is in the southeast corner. There is an island in the vertical river that green and purple can fight on. It is quite hard to cross the river because units in the river get killed easily. Red and blue can fight on the eastern part of red’s land mass. Red’s land mass extends very far to the east, so crossing the river is not very hard for blue, especially if he uses fast units.

The northern players can also fight the southern players. Red can easily cross the river before purple can get to it. They do not have to cross the river either. Purple’s land mass has many roads and forest that red can attack from. If purple needs to attack red, they need to cross the horizontal river. Blue and green can also fight. They are on the same land mass, so they do not have to cross any rivers. They have to fight in a very large area, so scouts are very important for taking villages in the beginning. They are also useful for taking villages in the middle of the game so the other player needs to divert some units to attack the scout. When one of the players wins, they can attack through the middle island. They could also attack across the horizontal river, but people have not been seen doing that.

Siege Castles is a very interesting scenario because there are many possible ways to attack. Also, each player has to use different tactics because the terrain on each of the land masses is different. There are many possible team combinations. The map is also large enough for scouts to go around enemy units and take enemy units. This is why Siege Castles is very interesting.
